How do you ventilate a subfloor?

If we talk about home ventilation in detail, there are multiple things to focus on. Home ventilation does not mean air-circulation in just one space or in the windows or doors. Home ventilation involves subfloor aeration, bathroom air-circulation, ventilation in the rooms, kitchens, and other spaces. Sometimes, we ignore subfloor ventilation or do not feel how crucial it is.

Subfloors are the base portion in any building unit that must be ventilated to maintain a good hygiene and good health because floors are the foundation blocks in any house and if the floor is soggy, wet, or humid, it affects the entire home atmosphere.

Lack of air-circulation in subfloor areas can cause:

-          Birth of harmful viruses and bacteria

-          Promote the growth of pests, fungi, mould, algae, parasites, etc.

-          Condensation, humidity, and moisture.

-          Timber damage by termites.

-          Decrease building lifespan

So, how can we ventilate the sub floor areas?

The only solution to this is subfloor ventilation. It is a mechanical process of introducing air vents under the floors for continuous air-circulation so that it expels humidity, condensation, and moisture. Installing sub floor fans and vents can improve the ventilation system and help to balance a perfect, harmless, and comfortable indoor atmosphere. Sub floor ventilation fan is the type of mechanical that keeps your home germ-free, well-ventilated, and hygienic.
